Things have taken a slight turn for the worse in the last two days with another large influx of autoers. Keep reporting them folks,i'm sure it passes the time whilst fishing.
I have heard many different comments about good, positive action J Mods have been taking in the last two weeks, I hope they continue and still eagerly await their long overdue update to nail these cheats.
UPDATE 10/05/07:
In response to the recent influx Jagex have upped their game and stepped up a gear and been busy banning.
They have banned over 1k accounts in the top 50k ranked fishers and 500+ in the top 10k fishers.
I have updated the stats of all 1474 reported accounts ans the following are the current totals:

3 Days of Jagex bot bashing - Why sharks are rising pt 1
During the last 3 days I have not been as actie as previously in reporting. (Spending more time with family etc
) but fear not I
am still commited to reporting and will up the pace again.
I thought you might enjoy an analysis of the last 3 days of jagex' work and extra reports.
During the last 3 days I added only another 63 accounts to the list, these however were ones which had slipped the net (bad pun) previously.
Total accoutns is now 2071 - If you recall when I last did a stat update on the 22/05/07 there were 1186 acounts banned. This left 885 accounts LIVE and unbanned and most likely autoing away.
Or does it?
In the last 3 days only
108 of those accounts GAINED xp!
So only
12% of the accounts which are not yet banned actually fished any decent amount.
Between the accounts that gained xp - they gained
20.7M XP
Enough for
188k sharks.
Quite a lot - but MUCH less than had been flooding in previously.
During this same time period Jagex banned
116 accounts.
In other words
13% of the remaining accounts.
You don't need to be a math whizz to see how quickly they can catch up at that rate.
The bans included
5 more Level
99s and
28 other level
90+
Astounding work bby Jagex.
So the key thing is - they may not have banned 100% yet, but those they are banning are the ones which are active, the unactive ones are basically on deaths row and will be banned if they becme active or try to transfer items.
