Summoning for F2P?

I don't know, Paul said it was p2p only, no screenie though, sorry. If it is f2p, it's one of those once-in-a-lifetime updates. The last f2p skill: Runecrafting released with RS2.

Yeah I think the discussion has ended. Unless Jagex thinks its funny to get P2P happy and then release F2P too. I'd just quit paying for members if that happened.

They have done that before so we cant say it ended, just have to wait until next week, i guess

Yep I also saw this. There's also a bit about releasing skills as a surprise for members and the bit about the pet shop being in Yanille.

This is actually the first time I've seen P2Pers complaining about F2P updates more than F2P complaining about them lol.

Mod Paul has confirmed that it's only for P2P.
Someone from my clan linked me to this topic where it all was discussed.

As far as I know, f2p and p2p have never had separate combat systems.

Plus, this is a good way for Jagex to infuse enthusiasm into a game which has been hampered by a new limitation system on trading. That is why they are doing it.

If it's p2p it wouldn't really affect f2p at all, summoning, like all members skills except for agility wouldn't carry over to f2p. A level 138 member vs. a 126 f2p would be completely fair, they would have the same stats since summoning won't carry over.
If summoning turns out to be f2p I'll kill someone, it's a terrible idea

Also for consideration is the fact that Jagex will have lost a lot of subscription money, it will be quite likely this update will be P2P.

It says in the latest development diary that it's a member's skill - though I'm not sure why so much debate has happened over it, the last f2p skill was way back when RS2 was released. :/

I really hope it is true because like I said in my new poll even though it would cost alot of money I would do anything to have a pet dragon or predator bird or even penguin or gecko. oNCE agian I hope it is true!
