Braindeath island, new dungeon update secret?

The reason why I'm making a thread on this is simple: Jagex has never been known to put "nothing interesting happens here" on anything. Ever. Until now.

I found this on the new dungeon map update. If you look at braindeath island, it says that. Is something "happening" there? Is it a spoiler or a hint for a new update?(remember rest...or the brassica prime?)

The other part, which I don't know if it's new or not, is that the entire area is checker-boarded off. If I'm right about the checkerboard, that means that upcoming content is in development there. Does anyone have any idea as to what's there? Or did a Jagex mod just put that in for the lulz?

I don't think the checkerboard means but the "nothing happens here" looks like a spoiler for another quest.

no it's just that nothing happens on that part of the islet.

the green water symbol is for the stagnant water pool on that side of the islet used during the quest.

The line "nothing happening here" was used in the quest many time as a joke. This is probably a continuation of that joke.

I don't really think so. they drive me crazy sometimes with their updates recently. it's still very interesting that they put that there though...

Well, I think it's pretty funny. Doesn't really make sense to put anything there anyway.
