Runescape coming to Consoles?

Can't wait. Wii would be a bit annoying since the keyboard would be impossible to use...

If Xbox has a keyboard, I don't see why that wouldn't work.

You can plug in a USB keyboard since the Wii has 2 ports on the back.

Give me a mouse and I'll be in business. Bet it won't lag too much either. actually using the wiimote may get a bit sore on the arm though :wink:

I can't imagine how anoyying gameplay would be on a console. They would have to redesign the entire game.

I don't see how it would be any different on the wii. Simply point and click. With a USB keyboard it would make the game almost exactly the same. Wonder if HD will be playable though

Perhaps someone wanted to use the tv they have to play. Or maybe they just want to log in to check their herbs. If your current computer was being used you could use the wii.

There are lots of reasons the wii would nice to use but I agree that in the long run, the computer will always be the superior option.

If the new Ps3 games cost $60 and is in blu-ray disc, is Runescape going to be on blu-ray disc and also cost $60? Is it also going to use its full use of the blu-ray disc? Such as Using all of runescape's map without so much load.

I think it would be more like an Xbox Arcade type of thing or Wiiware where you can just download it online for a small fee and then play it as an arcade game.

yeah but there's some thing better, called the Playstation Network.

This isn't an argument over Xbox Live of the PSN. You wouldn't even have to play it over Xbox Live or the PSN I think. As long as you are plugged into the internet you should be able to play Runescape.

That's okay, I've already expierenced it before any other kiddie xboxers.

Much like RTS' they could make gameplay very comfortable, but never more-so than the computer version.
