Guys, just because someone got THAT much EXP does not mean they botted or cheated in any kind of way. This guy probably didn't play 20 hours a day, nobody could live that way, you'd die within a week. He just played as much as the average hardcore RuneScape player plays, and did nothing but powermine.

So guys, chill out, who cares if he botted or not? If he actually did bot, then Jagex would have banged the banhammer a long time ago.

k good, so long as romeo made it to 200m legit first, who gives a **** if someone else botted their way to 2nd? i remember thinking when i first joined that i was going to beat romeo to 200m mining exp, then quickly realizing that i was doingitwrong and abandoned all hope.

EDIT#2: if you think somone's botting, they probably are. my guildmate made a makeshift bot to autocraft for him in aion with nothing but an auto-mouse program. simple and undetected. jagex's banhammer isn't as all-seeing as you think.

Yeah, their bot catching systems aren't as efficient as they claim. Not that you should go and bot, though. XD I suppose that's why they ban people who weren't even botting, to make up for the ones that they don't catch.

You can't really claim you know the number of hours someone plays a day, unless you observe their location constantly, or they tell you. I could track someone's XP gains a day and then get the xp/hour rate of powermining iron, and find that they play 32 hours a day, when they were actually mining concentrated gold with sc pickaxes.

You know, not because someone has 200m xp in skill means he's cheating. He just has...a lot of time in his hands.

Remember, some people plays 20 hours a day for real, no cheating at all. I played 14 hours once, Was playing about 8 hours a day back then. It means someone can do more. This is probably what he's doing. And it would be incredibly dumb to cheat with a such great account. I'd never risk myself into autoing and get banned.

Well, if it was the case that he played 20 hours a day, then that's a major waste of time and I question if any person in life could really live like that. Does he have some kind of online job? Does he support himself solely with no one else's help? To put it mildly, it's not really humanly possible to spend 20 hours a day doing something if you have nothing behind you to support you. If it's all by himself, I doubt he could keep it up for a long time. With that in mind, he therefore must be getting help from friends or a macroer. Those seem like the 2 most logical explanations. Still a major waste of time though no matter how you look at it.

if he as a brother or sis that plays than its possible to play 20h a day.
since they are playing under the same ip adress jagex cant do anything.

and its humanly impossible to play 20h a day for a long period of time, you will die

I first thought too that he's botting.... But I don't know, kinda changing my opinion now.

He is just one hell of a miner... He got 200M mining at iron ores and banking coal in mining guild. The reason why he is so suspicious is because no one knows him, none of the top miners or people from the mining community. He's training methods are odd and his weekly/monthly XP's crazy. Even crazier when you notice his stats, who could propably train that way? Get 200m mining (in f2p!) and have only so little other skills trained.

It's true there are more bots than Jagex thinks (they think the system is near perfect, which is too much said IMO) but in this case, I'd like to give Serial a chance. Probly trying to annoy him some day by trying to contact...

True. The most playing people I know play from 16 to 18 hours a day. (average in a month) 20 hours everyday for 5+ months is just impossible without sharing or botting. His records show that he played approximately 16-19 hours a day when he mined in mining guild and I calculated him getting 500 coal an hour, which is (I think) very good rate, 7.2 seconds per goal, banking it. (Note: not superheating or dropping)

he's not botting smithing though because he is not gaining very much xp. that means he probably didn't bot mining.

Nothing wrong w/ taking shifts tho jagex says it's agenst rules they don't ban for it and they Want to make sure they acutally bot b4 they ban

That is the case, but on occasion there are people who were wrongly banned for botting when they never did it. Jagex doesn't usually listen to them if they say they weren't either.
