As we all know Jagex offered the recovery questions feature so we could recover our account if it was stolen. The idea was that you answer some of your own personal questions and get your account back. However there is one drawback to this system. If someone knows your answers your account might be in danger.

So remember that if someone is asking for personal details that could answer your recovery questions don't ever give out that information.

I wrote this since one of our members his hotmail (not runescape account) was hacked. And someone one that account is trying to get that sensitive information. So don't ever tell that information to anyone, not even your closest friends.

Figured we might as well throw in this guys email;

If this person adds you please do not accept. That's not a reason to drop your gaurd either, any and all people that add you can be a threat so be carefull when answering questions or accepting files.
