Before I say anything I'd like to let everyone know that I have Mike's approval.

We're looking for information gathered by multiple means of research.

Firstly, we need people to fight any monster with 20 HP or more multiple times with nothing equipped. We need you to fill out the below form when gathering this information.

Code:
Strength level:
Strength bonus:
Attack Level:
Attack bonus:
Attack style:
Number of Monsters killed:
Max hit:

Secondly, we need people to fight any monster with 50 HP or more multiple times with nearly anything equipped. Please fill out the below form.

Code:
Strength level:
Strength bonus:
Weapon equipped:
Attack Level:
Attack bonus:
Attack Style:
Number of Monsters killed:
Max hit:

The monsters you fight can be slayer monsters or undead but you must not use any of the following when recording your max hits: Black Mask, Salve Amulet(neither normal nor (e)), Dragon Slayer Gloves, Full Dharok's, Any type of special attack, No prayers (you may use Pro prayers, you just can't use any which effect your Strength or Attack), No Strength, Attack, Zamorak, or Saradomin potions, you cannot use the super or mix versions of the potions either.

Please make sure you've hit what you think your max is at least 5 times before recording it as your max.

Please remember that we're also doing this same research, and if someone submits information which extremely contradicts what us or others have found to be true we will ignore it.

EDIT: Added Attack Level and Attack bonus to the form, please fill these out accurately. Thanks Southrend for the suggestion.
EDIT2: Added 'Number of Monsters killed: '.

Code:

Slash bonus: +93

Still have to do some more for the last one. So far 24 was my max, only had it once.

You might want to be interested in what the attack bonus is from someone (as in stab, slash and crush) cause I think that might also have effect on your max hit.

Thanks for submitting that information, it helps but we still need more people to submit.

I've added another part to the form (sorry if this form is getting too long for some of you) that asks how many you've killed. This is because I believe you hit more accurately after you've killed the desired monster for awhile. Also, simply killing 10 of something won't always show your max hit, I suggest killing at least 20.

I've killed at least 30+ things for most of my results.

I've never seen attack levels/bonuses influence your max hit in any case, though. Wouldn't necessarily make sense anyways, if attack is to increase accuracy. I see it kind of like defence influencing max hit.

It may or it may not influence, it shouldn't, but it doesn't take much longer to write it down.

Sorry, I won't be using format.

With 99 strength & 99 attack I do the following with these:

54 strength bonus + 111 Strength (using a Strength Potion) + 15% strength prayer = a max of 25

60 strength bonus + 111 Strength (using a Strength Potion) + 15% strength prayer = a max of 26

Both are on 'Aggressive'.

For your information to be considered valid you must abide by what I said in my first post.

I asked that no potions or prayers be used. I asked this because I do not know how potions and prayers work currently. Once we have an accurate formula for acquiring the max hits (using only Strength level and bonus) we will ask people to use potions and prayers.

Your information will be used when we get to that point, but currently it is not useful.

I've reworked the formula a little bit and it appears to now be more accurate.

We really do need more people to gather information. Even though I am gathering information my strength level is only 76, thus I can only gather information for this level. We need people with Strength levels in the: 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 80s, and 90s.

Please submit information, it is greatly appreciated

Formula reworked slightly

It appears to now be around 85-90% accurate.

I have not yet found another site which is 100% accurate. When I run some of the information here through other site's calculators it comes out wrong. When I run it through our formula it comes out right (or closer to what we know is true).

Please, we need more people to submit information so that we can have the (or at least one of the) most accurate Max hit calculator.
