I'm sure that can be arranged, might have to put a posts per day limit on it. We're willing to tweak things about, we're open to suggestions it's partly why this topic was made.

So go wild with them.

Just happened to go to the Troubleshooting/Tech forum and noticed something missing. Thought the page hadn't loaded properly, but then I saw the announcement.

Most of the stuff we talked about in the Sandbox can be discussed elsewhere. I'm guessing more traffic will go to Non-RS related media, and in general the forum should be more active.

Hmm.

I realize that you had to make this decision based on the stupidity and flaming that was becoming more common in the Sandbox. I still don't...completely agree with removing it altogether but I guess it had to be done.

I liked the Sandbox and the ability to create silly little topics in it that weren't discussion-worthy in the other forums but could still provide a good laugh. But some people ruined it for all of us.

RIP Sandbox.

Edit: Do you think the Blogosphere topic could be moved somewhere else on the site? We might not all want to advertise our blogs in our signatures and that was basically a big reference to all of them in one easy topic.

Now that the sandbox is gone, Where are we going to put the blogs in. I enjoyed reading those and I was about to make one.
Literature sub-forum?
No more browser wars either.
Those were the only good things in the sandbox.

What's the point? There's a Signature preview feature in profile, you know.

And on a side note, I declare Opera the winner of Browser Warz due to its recent death. NO ARGUMENTS.

A stickie for them might be possible, the Lit forum seems like a good idea but i can't confirm it right now, either way you have your signature to advertise it.

Newbies/retirees and all that. We've had birthday topics in there before, i see no harm in it. Doubt Shane or Mike would disagree on that one.
