Post subject:  The Sandbox
Since 2004, RSBANDB has been host to a wonderful community of dedicated and kind members. We've grown, not only in population, but in size--adding new subforums to accommodate the wide variety of our members' interests. Lately, however, there has been agreement amongst the staff that we should remove one sub-forum. The Sandbox was originally intended as an area where members could test their signatures, avatars, or experiment with BBCode. As everyone knows, it has developed a culture all of its own.

We have decided to remove the Sandbox. Not because it has become a popular sub-forum of various inside jokes and whatnot, but because it has developed into a negative atmosphere where flaming and flame-baiting is a pastime. The results of such behaviour have caused members to develop a negative view of our community or, worse yet, leave. RSBANDB has a rich community and we feel that extreme measures must be taken to preserve it.

Finally, it's important to mention that you are still allowed to advertise your blogs and personal websites as long as you do so in your signature (and provided you aren't linking to rule-breaking material). This topic will be left open for discussion, so please keep things civil.

Eh, I guess now I don't have much to stick around for xD

I already am starting to miss it. :( It was fun to hang out there, but it did get pretty annoying. A LOT of trends were started there. XD

A lot of people will be inactive because of this - Including me as well. I never really went outside Sandbox, but I guess I'll stick around and see if it goes.

On a lighter side, maybe this'll help me to get out of probation.

Yeah, I've always thought it should be removed but it was too popular a forum to ignore really. :$

Wow, I was NOT expecting that. :shock: I suupose it's for the good.

But the problem is.. gah I can't think. See, I just put a picture in the sandbox and I wanted to share it with the community, but in all honesty it doesn't deserve a post, just something stupidly funny I wanted to share, what would I do if I wanted to post a different picture, but it was just as stupid and as funny?

I did the same.

I dont like it being gone, but im sortve glad its gone. There was too much negativity but now i have no place to post partial posts :(

What he's saying is that its media probably that has little value of discussing. Fit for the Sandbox.
