I think that is your post a video from YouTube it should have to be the whole video in the code that we have
Code:
[youtube][/youtube]

It just seems kinda pointless to just make a topic and post a link, when it is suppose to be media, thats like just makinga lot of post for links to pictures.

Thanks - RG

Tbh I like it linked better :$.

Some embed without checking if embedding of that video was disabled or not, so it comes up as "This video is no longer available."
Plus, embedding here embeds in standard quality, not high quality.
And then embedding leaves out the comments and description and rating :(

Ya I didnt think about the ratings and stuff, hmmm. But it is still really annoying to always just see a link

I don't think this is a problem that should be solved with a rule, I think it is up to the poster how the want to present media they want to share.

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.

Plus page loads take longer when the photo or video is embedded into the post.

Actually, there's a much higher chance of me watching the video if its embedded. If a link is posted i usually just move on. Usually when i click it new window pops up or it replaces my existing tab. I already have enough clutter, embedding imo is just more convenient.

Merely just my thoughts
