Hello everyone! This is the topic of official Christmas events. Jagex may have thought they could stop people from having fun on the holidays but that is certainly not the case at RSBandB. We have the largest line-up of holiday events in the known history of RSBandB. Here they are in a short list...

Also if any of our more graphically inclined members are up to it they can make a holiday banner for the forums. Please keep it within the present size of our banner.
The Events (in chronological order)
Christmas Parade and House Party
When: Saturday December 22, 2007 @ 1PM (RBandB Time/MST, 8PM GMT, 12 PM PST, 2PM CST, 3PM EST)
Where: Meet at Varrock Centre World 132. We will then parade to Yanille and enter Alex 43's house.
What To Bring: Your best holiday outfit and snowballs.
TzHaar Style Snowball Fight
When: Sunday December 23, 2007 @ 1PM (RBandB Time/MST, 8PM GMT, 12 PM PST, 2PM CST, 3PM EST)
Where: TzHaar Bank World 132
What to Bring: Fighting gear. Please note that you should only use wind spells to attack others. They can be either WInd Strike, Wind Bolt, Wind Blast, or Wind Wave. It's close enough to being snowballs and TzHaar is a safe area as well
Fantasy Picture Contest
When: Ongoing. December 16th to December 22nd.
Where: RSBandB Forums
What to Do: Create the best fantasy picture that you can. The picture must be made by you. It does not have to be Christmas themed. Entries are due by the 22nd and the winner will be announced on the 28th. Please submit all entries to shane[at]rsbandb[dot]com with the string "[Fantasy Art Contest]" in the subject line. Also please include your forum name.
Runescape Picture Contest
When: Ongoing. From December 16th to December 31st.
Where: RSBandB Forums
What to Do: Create your best Runescape picture that you can. You're free to use any medium you wish. Some examples are 3D modeling, hand drawings, photoshop manipulations, pretty much anything goes. They can be Christmas themed if you want but it's not a requirement. Please be sure to put your name on it as the best one as determined by community vote will be submitted to the Runescape player gallery. Please submit all entries to shane[at]rsbandb[dot]com with the string "[RS Picture Contest]" in the subject line. Also please include your forum name.
Best Runescape Fake
When: Ongoing. From December 16th to December 31st.
Where: RSBandB Forums
What to Do: RSBandB has a pretty substantial community of fake creators. So why not hold a contest to see what the best one we can come up with is? Once again they can be Christmas themed but not a requirement. The best fake will be determined by a community vote. Please submit all entries to shane[at]rsbandb[dot]com with the string "[Best RS Fake]" in the subject line. Also please include your forum name.
Where in the world is Shane12088?
When: Saturday December 29, 2007 @ 1PM (RBandB Time/MST, 8PM GMT, 12 PM PST, 2PM CST, 3PM EST)
Where: Falador park. World 128.
What To Bring: Detective skillz.
Explanation: Shane will be hiding about somewhere in the free world. Your job is to find him. For every 5 minutes that the game goes on contestants will be given a new clue. The first person to find Shane will win.
A Trial of The New Clan Wars System
When: Sunday December 30, 2007 @ 1PM (RBandB Time/MST, 8PM GMT, 12 PM PST, 2PM CST, 3PM EST)
Where: Clan wars. World 128.
What To Bring: Fighting gear.
Explanation: We will break up into two teams (clans). One team will use Mike's channel (Mike12088) and another will use my channel (Shane12088). We will attempt to even up the channels player wise. May the best team win.
For the TzHaar Snowball Fight and Where in the world is Shane12088? we will be handing out prizes to each winner. You can also expect we'll be handing out some small gifts at the house party. Winners of the Runescape Picture Contest, Fantasy Picture Contest, and Best Runescape fake will also receive a non Runescape related prize thanks to Creepy.
