ZMI altar. . . which runes do you use to pay for the banking?

The best way to do this is to avoid banking at the alter. I have the Lunar spell book equipped and cast the Ourania Teleport spell to get near the alter. After making the runes I just cast the Moonclan Teleport and use the bank there.

The advantage is that Moonclan has a summoning restore point on the way to the bank and you only have to run to the alter, not back. Also don't have to pay 20 runes to bank which is even more expensive when you use 4 pouches.

That is really smart! You should make a guide for 3 things... One for magic... One for Crafting... And one more the ZMI alter. Good luck on your goal!

Wow, that's intense. Or it sounds intense because I haven't the slightest clue where to start :p. I tried the ZMI once and yeah, I didn't like the payment of 20 runes, and I didn't know how most people did it. Is that what most people do? Like Shane? I saw him using the ZMI on a runewire screenie. Oh well, thanks for the insight, and good luck!
Insane maybe, but definitely something I'd brag about!

I'm definitely not much of a runecrafter, but I was doing some runecrafting at the ZMI altar the other night, and realised it saved me some time to just teleport straight back to Ourania instead of to Moonclan first.
According to the RS Wiki, "Moonclan Teleport costs 627 coins for each cast". Say you need to access the bank 3 times per trip (filling pouches and follower), the runes you pay cost less than a teleport to Moonclan does. You'd just bring yourself a stock of several thousand mind or fire runes and be good to go for a while. As these cost 9gp each, you'd be spending 540gp for each run. When you need to recharge summoning, use the Moonclan teleport instead.

Or does this not work because you have 4 pouches?

Anyway, good luck. I think you'll make it. :D

I think if I had to buy the runes to teleport to Moonclan it would be prohibitively expensive. Each trip to the alter though I'm making more law and astral than I need for the round trip.

Teleporting directly back to the entrance sounds like a great idea and I'd probably do that if there were a summoning recharge point around there someplace so I could keep my run energy up. Occassionally, I'm having to tele to Edgeville to repair a pouch in the abyss so I could hit the recharge there. This might be worth looking into for anyone wanting to save the extra teleport runes.

One hassle with banking at ZMI is the tendency of your summoning creature to close windows when something major happens even if you aren't done yet. If I manage to get to the bank and get my bank window open before my Terrorbird re-appears, when it does appear it shuts down the window as if to say "I'm here". The same thing happens when there is only 1 minute or 30 seconds left before the creature disappears. I've noticed this with Bull Ants as well. Its irritating behavior when it doesn't cost anything to bank let along after I just payed out 20 perfectly good runes.

That's exactly what I did when I trained Rc as well...

I went for that goal for a while, but quit at 60 when I realized how long that would take me.

Hope you can make it, it's a very hard thing to achieve =)

Thanks! It's going to be difficult to stay with it to the end but I'm determined.

When you start thinking how hard it is - start thinking of all the money you will make when you have 91 =P

I think it's something like 1 mill per hour.

1m? lol i wish...i did the math one time, if your as fast as possible double nature crafting you get 550-600k an hour.

Still, thats in leauge with abby demons, and the best money you can make while skilling
