Well this week is a hybrid. Hybrid's are always fun. Here's the deal, you can ask a question for any of these topics:
1. Runescape
2. Tech
3. Wildcard

The order that the topics are listed is the order that questions will be selected for priority. For example, a Runescape question will be picked over a wildcard question. However all three types are alllowed and we want to get a good selection of each type in.

Just a reminder, read the FAQ before posting.

Also do not answer any questions seen in this topic.

Hello Shane, Brad, and anyone else who may be hosting this week,

My sister has desktop computer that she claims I have somehow messed up. She claims to not have any administrative access on her computer whatsoever, though I can prove for myself that she doesn't know what she is talking about.

While I was compressing some files on her computer to save disk space, I found a file with my name on it. I assume it was from when I had an account on her computer, as it had 0 bytes of data contained within it. If she did not have administrative access (as she claims), and my account did, how did she delete my account from her computer? (Note: If this is not possible, just say something to the effect that my sister doesn't know her facts, blah blah blah.. :wink:

)

My cable modem is currently connected to my PC with a USB cable, but I was looking to get a router so I can have wireless access to battle it up over DS Wi-fi..but to do that, I need to connect the modem/router to my PC with an ethernet cord.

When I do, the modem sees it's connected to a computer but the computer doesn't see that there's a modem!!

(the little ethernet plug lights up green when I plug in the cord, too)

Shane and Brad do you think i should get a 30gig or an 80gig video ipod for my birthday next week id like the 80gig but i might not have enough to get it is it worth the money for it?
