Hey guys. My dad and I had a discussion of getting Vista or not. I need some questions answered to know for sure what we should do about it.

First question is: Is it really worth Vista? Has Vista fixed all those bugs and crap that everyone has been talking about? Is it a downgrade from XP to Vista? etc. like that.

Now for the technical question: What is the easiest way to convert from XP to Vista without having all the files from the hard drive removed? From my understanding, my dad got a RAID card that can attach 2 1 terrabyte drives. I don't know what this is supposed to do, but getting this will help Vista or something.

So any thoughts on how to do this without removing any files? It doesn't even have to include the RAID card, just anything.
