With the US election almost (or less than depending on when you're reading this) a week away we figured we'd do political questions. Note: Your questions do not have to be related to the US election, they can be any type of political question. When we say any that means any, you could ask about how elections work in Canada or the UK or you could ask about different types of electoral systems (eg. STV in BC Canada or Mixed PR in Germany). All other rules still apply. Just a reminder, read the FAQ before posting. If you are asking a personal question, feel free to include your own answer in it. Also do not answer any questions seen in this topic. |

out of all the people running for president in the 2008 election which one would you choose? i would of chosen Mitt Romney because he seemed best fit for the job. |

If you had to choose anyone in the world to be the president of your country of residence at the moment, who would it be? Also if you somehow offered to be the president of your country would you accept, why or why not? Thanks  Keep Up the amazing show! PS Brad is hilarious!

What properties define a great political leader to you? If (hypothetically speaking) there was U.S. election BUT only the current EU leaders could run, who would you vote for? Why are Americans so afraid of socialism? And finally, If you could ONLY pick people from parties other then Republicans or Democrats, who would you vote for? -Andy |

Though neither of you live in the US. What changes do you think the US will need to make to pull it out of the deep dark hole that the country is pulling itself into? IMO The US goverment needs to pull their sorry heads out of their asses, stop acting like a bunch of bickering two-year olds and acually sit down and decide on what the next move is, THEN make changes, you can't make changes when you can't agree on what the hell to do. |

Obama, if he is elected president, plans to bring socialism into the U.S. Do you believe that this could upgrade into communism? P.S. Just got the original series of Star Trek from a friend. The first two(that's all I've seen so far) are quite interesting, but it seems that there is no episode 1. |

How do elections work in canada? now I'm curious. In texas i think it's just electronic things they put in schools and other polling places. DO you have early voting? What system is used, etc.? -Lego Pi3 |

Hello Shane and Brad, This week my question is for mostly Shane, but Brad can answer the later questions if he wants too. What drew you to being a conservative and does it mean the same thing in Canada as it does here in the US? I know here when you say your conservative it means your republican. If it is the same is the republican party the same in Canada as it is here in the US? |
