With respect to the question regarding what to set your Kingdom Management settings on.... for the most money, yes herblore is good, so is woodcutting for the bird's nests and the high level tree seeds you can get from them. For me, my strategy is to select the categories that benefit me most in skilling. I usually set at least some workers on mining, because that is where i get my coal for smithing (as I smelt my own bars). The other workers I set on whatever skill I'm concentrating on... some on herbs, some on woodcutting, some on fishing. Fishing gives me some raw fish to cook for the cooking Strange Rock, woodcutting gives me maples to burn (for the firemaking Strange Rock) as well as to fletch (for the fletching Strange Rock). I figure that I still make lots of profit (more than 1 million gp per week) if I utilize the goods I receive from Miscellania and train with them making products, then selling those on the GE. I don't usually collect goods from the Kingdom every week, sometimes it's several weeks before I eventually go and collect. The longer you wait, the more chance of getting bonus items such as clue scrolls and key halves from fishing, gems from mining, birds' nests, etc. It is a great resource indeed.
