Well.. I guess a lot of you weren't expecting this

I return. I'm guessing all of you wondered what happened, well I'll fill you in briefly on the events in my life that have transpired since I left you in February

I went off to RAF basic training and lasted there a grand total of... well just under two weeks. While I was there a pretty catastrophic family tragedy occured and I was
forced to return home, no two ways about it really. Couldn't stay halfway across the country when something like that happened. Real shame because I was starting to enjoy the training, So now I'm waiting to begin a boring 9 to 5 office job but meh. **** happens. Huge sense of irony going on about a big change in my leaving post when circumstance was to drag me back to normality in an all together miniscule amount of time.

Shane's been badgering me to return here for the past week or so and he's finally talked me into it, so here I am.

That's it really.

The podcast no, the forums yes. And as for my job, well.. hopefully a long time. It's what I intend to you know.. do.. But it's 9 to 5 and it I'll be on the forums just as much as I was before I originally left.

Hiya Brad, it's good to see you're back. It certainly sounds like it's been a rough time for you, but I hope that things are getting better all the time. The Rsbandb community is here for you.

One question though, if you really enjoyed the training, what's keeping you from going back? From what you described, it sounded a lot more interesting than some 9-5 office job.

Well my current situation doesn't really make going back straight away possible, and if I chose to do so it would take the best part of a year getting in again. I may pursue it again in the future but we'll see, that's the luxury of youth I guess. More likely I'll just join the reserves and be able to work 9-5 alongside that.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear about your situation, it must be baaaad especially after you put two weeks into training for something really bad to send you right back to the start. I hope it all works out for yourself, but it's good to have you back. We missed your satire
