Making another guide for a quest that already has a guide in this forum or on the site is not a problem, because then we can combine the best of both to make a better guide...

And right now theres a few guides in here that are lacking in the pictures department..... we could use lots of pictures in quest guides.

Yes. Also in guide pictures, it is also good to add a minimap that someone can use as reference to find a selected area within the picture, if you can.

However, when you make a guide, take some time to read other guides on the same quest you are writing a guide for. That way, you'll know where a picture is needed or some instruction is required instead of having 3 different guides and all of them missing the fact that you have to first do 'so-and-so'.

And for a postscript, it is also good to post the quest guide reward, if possible, to prove that this is the reward, and if possible, also write down a few things with a picture or 2 about the long-term benefits after a quest. Like describing how you talk to Bert in Yanille to get 83 buckets of sand daily after completing the 'Hand in the Sand' quest, for example. Sometimes the quest benefits aren't as clear or people enjoy skipping over what an NPC says, missing the vital instructions for the after-quest and ultimately missing out on the full benefits.
