Description: The Mining Guild is a dwarven mining outpost in Falador, exclusively for people over 60 mining. The mines have a huge number of coal rocks (37) and 5 mithril rocks.
Requirements: Level 60 Mining (Level 59 w/ a Dwarven Stout (conviniently bought for 3gp from the Falador Pub) or 58 w/ Dwarven Stout (m))

Bank?: No (Very close to Falador East bank)

Ground Level + Second Level

One of the two entrances to the Mining Guild is on the ground level. Guarded by three dwarves are four ladders. Choose any ladder to enter, it makes no difference. If you talk to one of the dwarves you discover that all the ores mined by the dwarves are carted to the underground Dwarven city of Keldagrim, to be smelted with the Blast Furnace. After achieving level 99 mining, you can buy the mining cape of achievement from the dwarf wearing it for 99K. In the West building is a bronze pickaxe spawn, which isn't particularly useful for those who have access to the guild. On the second floor of some of the surrounding buildings are level 11 dwarves you can kill, though there is not much point.



The Mines

The biggest (and one of the only) attraction to this guild is the mines. It features a whopping 37 coal rocks and 5 mithril rocks. The Falador East bank is not far away from the guild, making it an excellent area to mine coal. The mithril rocks are a good spot if they aren't already occupied. It can be better to mine on a world with more people, if there are unoccupied spots in the guild, because the ores will respawn faster. There is also a second entrance/exit to the guild down here, which leads to the great Dwarven Mines. For more information on those mines, check out the map here.
