Post subject:  RSBANDBInformer! Applications [UPDATED: Jan 17]]

Applications are now open again for RSBANDBInformer! We are looking for a selection of people, we are not putting any application restrictions on this time. This means that if you're a writer about Runescape in general, apply; if you're a writer about Runescape updates, apply; if you're a tech writer, apply. So basically anything goes this time around.

We are also looking for a person who can do monthly economy reports. It would be a bonus for this position if you were familiar with Microsoft Excel. Merchanting experience is not required but would be good. This is the only specialized position we are looking for right now.

If you've applied before and were turned down, feel free to apply again.

We're also changing the format of the application. No longer is it just an email. If we like your email application we'll ask you to come for an interview on MSN.*

Please send your application in this format:

Rsbandb Forum Name:
Age:
Location/Timezone:
Past Writing Experience:

And finally, we would you like you to write 100 words on one of the following topics:

(i). Explain your favourite Runescape skill to someone who has never played Runescape before. Be sure to include why it's your favourite skill and how it works.

(ii). Take a stand on whether or not you agree with Jagex's stance that third party Runescape clients/world switchers are now banned. This rule change was made on January 2, 2007.

http://news.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/runescape/newsitem.ws?id=686

(iii). Pick a piece of software and write 100 words describing why you like it and how it would change a persons experience on their computer. The software product must be free to download and not contain any spyware/malware.

Please do not write overly long applications. If we have to spend more time to get the point of what you are writing there is a chance that we will put your application in the trash. So please keep to the 100 word limit.

Please email all applications to rsbandbinformer@gmail.com

Once our new team members have been recruited we will hold a staff meeting in order to determine what people want to write about.

Please also have the subject of your email as "RSBANDBInformer! Application"

Applications will run for one week, they will be extended if need be.
*MSN Messenger is required.

Yes. If you use Microsoft Word, go up to the Tools menu and click Word Count.

What would be the main job of the economic reporter?
Building a report of what items are selling for and new items?

And you would be wanting them to create a spreadsheet for the report right?
