The new year is a perfect chance to show off your writing skills. Informer is hiring for two positions. Applicants will be screened based on general article quality, RSBandB status, and in the case of the Runescape position, membership or not. Position 1: Gaming Writer If you like to game and write this job is perfect for you. Your job will be to write a gaming related article each month covering a new game or some other gaming story that interests you. You must have one of the current mainstream consoles. This includes Xbox 360 or PS3. Xbox 360 is preferred, we will look highly upon your application if you have a Wii or PC capable of gaming along with this. For your application please write a 1000 to 1500 word article on a topic of your choosing. Please also consider, that if you are selected for the position this article will serve as your first published work. Position 2: RS Writer As a Runescape writer you will be writing one general RS article per month and most likely an article on a Runescape update if it is a busy month. You must have membership, levels will most likely not play a role in selecting the winning candidate. For your application please write a 1000 to 1500 word general RS-based article on a topic of your choosing. Please also consider, that if you are selected for this position this article will serve as your first published work. Please email all applications to shane [at] rsbandb [dot] com. Also include your location (timezone works), age, forum name, and past writing experience. Applications close on Jan 22, 2009 at 5pm MST (GMT-7). |

I will think about this because writing more will help my writing skills which is the hardest thing in school for me. And writing about gaming would be very comfortable. |

Yep. Anything you want that's RS related. Also I should note... NO ATTACHMENTS. Put the application directly into your email. Anyone who doesn't will have theirs sent to /dev/null. |

Yes, finally, after editing out over 1 000 words I fianlly got my piece into the limit at 1 455 words, need to get it proof read then going to send it tomorrow, hope I send it before 5pm... |
