Event Suggestion Thread 2.0

Have a suggestion for a weekly event or a one-off event? Post it here.

We are eager to hear any ideas that you, the community, may have. Events are not guaranteed to be used. If you want a higher chance of your event being considered or incorporated please make it as detailed as possible.

Finally, remember to make sure your event has not been done in the past. If it has been done, please make sure you make significant alterations.

how about a skotm day?
like lets say the skotm is fishing then one day there is an event where everyone can go fishing and get xp

More F2P events would be nice. Not saying that just because im F2P but you haven't really done that many F2P

Not that we dislike F2P players, but most of the active members who are on this site and attend events are members. We do what we can to accommodate others, but it's easier to go with the majority than the minority. We won't stop doing F2P events of course, but they're not going to be more common than the P2P events.

Check out some of the Non-RS events, especially those starting this month. You're bound to find something you like

A Team Fortress 2 event. If you don't want to run a server, let me know and i'll let you use mine.
Or Left 4 Dead, but I don't think enough people have that installed to even fill up a Campaign game.

For the boss takedown event, it would be great to have a group of people who have done the quests to kill corporal beast or tormented demons. Pretty good splits if it is a good drop.

We've done them in the past, and we can't get enough people to get on a team for a game to begin. Think we tried going to a larger world, but I don't remember that going all that smoothly.

Needless to say, if we could get the people together we'd be more than happy to host the event.

I think we should do pest control but do veteran boats every so often so some of our higher leveled players can have a good time (not to bad mouth 99 and unders). I also think we should have more "get on the show" events for certain holidays because I liked the valentines one where we had to do something romantic, and seeing paul on the update was a nice change!

There isn't enough people showing up for the pest control event, so maybe even 1-2 level 100+ come every week. Some of the past weeks have been done with 5-6 people, so even if do get 5 people on veteran boat, we wouldn't win any games.

Sure, we could do the high level boat thing, but as Owen has already pointed out the turnout to most events isn't as high as we'd like it to be. If we had a better turnout to other events, we could consider adding more events that less potential people could attend. Till then, we need to keep the doors open to as many people as possible.

So if more people like yourself would attend more often, the events would not only become a bit more fun with a larger section of the community, but opportunities for other events would present themselves.

I was thinking of new Runescape style events and one thing that RSBandB hasn't had much was PvP style events.

I suggest that there should be a weekly PvP style three week rotation between:

-Wildy PKing
-Fight Pits / Duel Arena Tournament
-Clan Wars

This event would be good because it would attract the PvP crowds on RSBandB plus it would be a nice break from skilling for an hour or two.

well possibly a new xbox 360 event possibly halo 3 or take a vote on what to play???

also maybe fishing trawler would be nice majority of peeps can play only need 10 fishing???

also... maybe a hide and seek kind of thing where we choose a person we know we can trust nd have him hide in...idk in a city of his choice and he cant leave the city so we search the city to find him??? and if u see him or follow him he has to say in cc that, that specfic player found him... idk just thinking
