I made a post like this many months ago before Cod Waw came out. But now we have all played both games it is time again to vote on which one is better now.

They are both very different but I think that Cod 4 is a bit better. But I will play both to have a variety.

i voted cod4.
it's not that cod WaW isn't a good game.
it's just that i prefer the guns and campaign in cod4.

Call of Duty 4.

I didn't actually play the full game of Call of Duty: World at War, but I did get a chance to play the Beta. The beta was fun and all, but it is probably no different than the real game.

COD4. It had me playing for hours with Ryan and Joey amongst others. COD W@W is just crap. They messed up multiplayer and the story really isn't anything to write home about.

COD4 just cause the campaign was good. The multiplayer was unbalanced and took no effort, skill, tactics or any form of brain power to jump into, not my kind of thing. It's the only game thus far where the beta for the multiplayer was better than the actual multiplayer on the retail. The snipers worked properly, the camo and hiding in grass worked a charm and it was great, pity it went to **** once the masses got their hands on it and they screwed up the snipers.

CODWAW somehow managed to make the multiplayer even more unbalanced which is a joke in itself and the campaign was boring, the characters sucked, the missions sucked, all sucked. So glad i managed to pick that one up cheap and not full price.

CoD4. No question that the online play is more enjoyable.

Yeah, I own both games and played COD: WAW for a few days and I hated it. The online is really stupid with the tanks and stuff. COD4 is ftw.

It's a split decision for me.

Essentially, both multiplayer experiences are the same at their core with the exception being, that, CoD4 has the better maps while WaW has better weapons. As far as their respective campaigns go, both are very fun and exciting to play.

It's just too hard for me to pick the better game, they are both of high quality.
