Steps:
1. Talk to Almera (she can be found in a house north east of the baxtorian falls, marked by the * on the map below) Tell her that you'll help find her son.
2. Board the raft at the back of the house. The raft then washes downstream and crashes on an island in the stream. Talk to Hudon there. He tells you about the treasure and how he won't help you.
3. Use your rope on the rock downstream that has the option "swim to rock". Don't swim to it.
4. On the next island use your rope on the dead tree. (has the option "climb tree", but don't climb it.)
5. This will get you on a ledge in the middle of the waterfall, don't enter the door there yet though. Right click on the barrel there and use the "get in barrel " option.
6. Enter the house just North of where you wash up on the riverbank and talk to Hadley. Then go upstairs, search the bookshelf and read the book on Baxtorian. Then go talk to Hadley again.
7. After that you have to go to the maze in front of the tree gnome village (marked by an "!" on the map). Just before the entrance to the gnome village there's a ladder, go down it. Then head east and search the lighter coloured crate thats there. You should find a key in that crate.
8. Then head North-West in the cave, past the hobgoblins theres a jail door, use the key on that and then talk to the gnome in there. He'll give you Glarial's pebble.
9. The next step is to go into Glarial's tomb, so bank all you armour and weapons, and go the the tomb North-East of Hadley's house.
10. Use the pebble on Glarial's tomb, and enter it (there are lvl 84 moss giants so be careful). Go west and open the chest there, you should get Glarial's amulet there.
11. Then take the south path, search the tomb there and you will find an urn. So exit the tomb and get the 6 airs, earths and waters and whatever you need to fight fire gaints.
12. Now return to the waterfall, and instead of getting in the barrel, wear Glarial's amulet and enter the waterfall.
13. Once in the waterfall, take the Eastern path and search the crates in there. You should find a key.
14. Now take the Western path, past the fire giants, use the key on the first door. Then pick up the key on the ground in that room and use it on the next door.
15. Now you're in a room with 6 pillars. Use one air, earth and water on each pillar. Then use Glarial's amulet on the statue of Glarial and the ground under the chalice in the middle of the room will rise. Then use the urn on the chalice.
16. Finished.
There my first quest guide. Good? I need to know still if the xp you get is variable though. I think it is.
