Requirements: Must have completed Recruitment Drive, Priest in Peril, Lost Tribe and Rune mysteries quests. Also need 32 QP.
Start Point: Sir Tiffy in Falador Park.
Difficulty: Easy/medium
Items needed: 20 Rune ess, 10k/molten glass, law rune, enchanted gem Lumbridge, Falador, Varrock and Camelot teleport optional.
1. Start the quest by talking to Sir Tiffy in the Falador Park, ask if he has a quest for you.
2. Go to Sir Amik Varze(White knights castle, 3rd floor), and when he asks you to be his squire, say yes.
(You can also say NO, doesnt make any difference.[Thanks The Peleton])
3. Go back to Tiffy, and say you accepted Amik's offer. Go back to Amik.
4. Amik is talking about Salus, a powerful mage, and asks you to stop him.. Go back to Tiffy again.
He says you need equipment to track Salus down, pay 10k or get the materials yourself. (Molten glass, 1 law rune and an enchanted gem [buy from a slayer master])
5. When youve got the CommOrb, right click and select "Contact"
You will now begin a chat with "Savant".
6. After that, right click on the Orb again, and select "Playback" and "Current assignment"
You can watch cutscenes of Salus talking with Lord Daquarius and the Zamorak Mage.
7. Now go talk to the Zamorak mage in Varrock, he is located southeast from Aubury's Rune store.
He will tell you where Salus is if you give him 20 rune ess. Give.
8. After that, go to Lord Daquarius. He is located in the Taverly dungeon, south from Chaos Dwarves, near the Black Knights.
Talk to him. He refuses to tell you anything, so kill one of his black knights and talk to him again.
9. He tells you, that Salus left some kind of fur behind when he teleported away.
It is no bear fur, and as the Zamorak mage said, Salus went East of Varrock, so he is in Canifis.
10. Either teleport (With the Ectophial or Ancient Magic) or walk to Canifis
and click "Scan" on your CommOrb and you should see Salus.
11. He teleports away, leaving a Fremennik Cloak behind. So go to Rellekka and use the "Scan" again. Salus will appear again, but now teleports YOU to Camelot.
12. You will now have a blue cape in your inventory. This is called "the Cape of Champions" so go to the Champions guild that is south from Varrock.
(You need 32 QP)
13. Scan again, and Salus will appear again, this time blinding you with smoke, and teleporting away. You will now have a banana in your inventory.
Go to Karamja Banana Plantation.
14. *SALUS WILL NOW HIT YOU SO, THAT YOU HAVE 5 HP LEFT* I got hit by 66. (You will have 5 hp left)
You will be teleported to Falador by Savant. You now have a Bone Spear in your inventory.
15. Go to the Dorgeshuun Mines. (Under Lumbridge [Must have done the Lost tribe])
16. Either talk to Kazgar or walk trought the tunnels.
Scan again. A Woman will appear. Don't be fooled by 'her', shes really Salus, and he will stun you. He disappears and leaves a toy horsey behind.
17. Toy Horsies are sold in Draynor, so go there. Scan again, and Salus will appear and summon a black knight. (Level 32 - not hard)
And leaves rune ess behind.
18. This is the last time you encounter Salus, and will fight him.
Go to the Rune Essence mines, you dont need to scan now, you will see a cutscene of Salus killing White Knights..
19. Now you must kill Salus. He hits 40's (?) and is easy to kill because hes "Weakened".
After you kill him, you get his hat, and you must give it to Sir Amik Varze as a proof you have killed him.
