Difficulty:
- Easy, with numbers of level 27 NPCs who are aggressive. Depending on your ability, bring food or armor.
Length:
- Medium, but when you know what you're doing, it goes by quickly.
Start Point:
- Bill Teach, located in the Inn in Port Phasmatys.

To find Bill Teach, you want to go to Port Phasmatys, so an ectophial would be handy.
Talk to him, and after a bit of terribly improvised pirate talk and a bit of luck, he'll recruit you to help him sail a ship. Kind of makes me wonder, though, how he got his drink when the Port Phasmatys bar is dry (talk to him a second time). Ah well. When you're ready, go to the port and find this ship. It'll have a transport arrow on the map nearby.
Board it, talk to Bill, and you're off.
Suddenly, you're unconcernly attacked. He'll tell you to grab some fuse, a tinderbox, and rope, head to the top, swing over, use a fuse on their gunpowder barrel, and blow up their cannon.
Now, go ahead and explore the place. There's no hurry, because the ship has a lot of space to take water in. The area is very small, and learn to remember where certain things are by using the map to find items on the ground and look for rope ladders and such.
First things first. Grab a rope, a fuse, and a rope down below deck from these crates.
From there, go above deck, climb the rope ladder, and use the rope on your sails.
You'll swing across. Use the fuse on their gunpowder barrel and light it.
Grab the rope nearby (use the map to find it), and repeat the rope attachment procedure.
Talk to Bill now. He'll tell you to repair the 3 holes by getting 2 repair planks, 10 tacks, and 1 swamp paste for each. Just click on the holes when you have these to fix them.
From there, talk to Bill again. He'll tell you to plunder their ship. Grab some rope and swing on over. Head below deck.
It'll take a while for the stuff to respawn after plundering, so be patient. The barrel, crate, and chest here are plunderable.
Once you have them, return to your ship, go below deck, and right click your golden chest to store. Then talk to Bill.
He'll tell you to repair the cannon. Grab and drop the broken cannon, go below deck, grab a cannon barrel, and use it on the empty cannon stand.
Now he'll tell you to fire the cannon. Remember this order: Powder, ramrod, canister, fuse, light, and ramrod.
Wait until some idiots walk in front of the cannon and blow the tar out of them. Talk to Bill.
He'll then tell you to do this 3 more times, except with cannonballs instead of canisters this time. You can fail, so if you do, just head back down for more ammo.
After that, you're all done.
You'll sail in, meet 'Mama', and finish the quest!
Explore the place. There are neat cutlasses you can buy for big prices, pirate clothes, a bank, a bar which you can actually buy that braindeath 'rum' (yuck!!!) from.
