To celebrate RSBANDB's 5th birthday, I hosted a Halo 3 map-making competition. After a much anticipated wait I would like to announce Kenny as our competition winner!

Those who are curious to see the winning map, and also the maps of others who entered need not fret, as your chance to see them has come. Kick open your Xbox 360 and stick on Halo 3 to take advantage of RSBANDB's one-off Halo 3 event!

What: Halo 3
When: Saturday 5th September, 2PM RSBandB Time/MDT (1PM PDT, 3PM CDT, 4PM EDT, 9PM BST/England, 8PM GMT)
Where: Xbox Live
Description: The event will consist of various custom game modes and maps, and will also showcase the maps entered into the competition. If anyone has a map they would like us to use, please recommend it to DeathByThinking over Xbox Live. If you want to participate in this event, please add DeathByThinking and/or DisgrntlKlingon on Xbox Live, also informing us of your forum name, so that we can invite you to the event.

.... but just wanted to make sure you got mine right? cause i know there was some complications and i will defiantly be at the event i love halo 3 =) =P

Yeah, Ryan tends to think an event is a waste of time if only 2 people really want to do it.

i thought we still should of played we had 4 people at the starting time.... we should have started and more people would have joined.....

I'd like to point out that the event had 3 people there. With 3 people any sort of community game is impossible, and the event wasn't made to be just matchmaking together. The event was made to showcase everyones maps and play other custom maps and game modes the community have created. I don't see how you have the authority to declare what happens with my event, considering you didn't even show up yourself, but instead you decided to scarper off to whatever else you do minutes before the event.

If you want to contradict the job I do as you seem to have spent the past 2 days doing, then go ahead I really couldn't care less, but for you to turn around to me and tell me how to run events without even going to them yourself is beyond belief. You don't even know what happens at the events, so how you can complain about anything is ridiculous.

We did not have 4 people, we had 3 because the other guy didn't inform me of who is was and whether he was from RSBANDB or not. More people would not have joined since I gave out a **** time for people to get there for. It'd be like having a birthday party and having more of your friends come to it as the party goes on. It just doesn't happen, they would get there for the time they were told to.

If you have any more questions about the events I host you are better off PMing me or talking to me on MSN because I would rather not make this any more public than I already have.
